TERMS OF HIRE :

The word UNIT in these terms and conditions means the equipment which is being hired to you, the Hirer).

These are the Terms of Hire of Floaty Towers Limited (“the Company”).

Please read these carefully and sign at the top to signify that you acknowledge and accept these Terms.

1. The Company accepts no responsibility for damage, death or injury whilst the Unit is under hire to you.

2. You, the Hirer are responsible for injury, death or damage occurring to any Third Party whilst the Unit is on hire to you and you are strongly advised to take out Public Liability Insurance covering the use of the Unit whilst it is on hire to you.

3. You, the Hirer are responsible for arranging adequate First Aid cover for the event.

4. You, the Hirer are responsible for ensuring that there must be clear access available for the Unit on arrival.

5. You, the Hirer are responsible for ensuring that there is a space of 20 x 20 foot available for the Unit.

6. The Company will provide at least one member of staff to set up, inflate and deflate the Unit.

7. For the safety of persons using the Unit, you the Hirer, must at all times, ensure that;

7.1 There is adequate adult supervision at all times when the Unit is in use. The Unit must not be left unattended, and if hired overnight, the Unit along with all accessories must be stored indoors.

7.2 Persons supervising the use of the Unit must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

7.3 Any spare equipment is not used to create obstacles employed in connection with the use of the Unit at any time.

7.4 Persons with medical conditions (e.g. brittle bones, neck or back injuries, heart condition or temporary injuries), which may put them at risk of injury do not use the Unit.

7.5 All shoes, jewellery, glasses and sharp objects being worn or carried by persons using the Unit are removed before using Unit.

7.6 All food which includes chewing gum and drink is forbidden when using the Unit.

7.7 No party poppers, streamers, silly string or similar explosive novelties are used by persons using the Unit or directed by others at persons using the Unit. These materials permanently stain the fabric and you, the Hirer shall be liable for compensation to the Company.

7.8 No signs are glued/taped or hung on the Unit.

7.9 Before each new game the supervisors must check that the landing mats are in the correct position.

7.10 Spectators do not encroach onto the landing mat area.

7.11 In the event of rain (even light rain or drizzle) use of the Unit is stopped immediately and not restarted until the Unit is thoroughly dry.

8. Only our delivery driver is authorised to collect the Unit and under no circumstances should it or any ancillary equipment be handed over to anyone other than those delivery drivers employed by the Company.

9. If the Unit is returned in a dirty condition it will be subject to a cleaning charge which must be paid by you, the Hirer.

10. The Company reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to cancel the hire due to adverse weather conditions either forecast or at the agreed time of commencement of the hire. The delivery driver is authorised by the company to make such decisions.

11. The balance of the cost of hire is to be paid in full to the delivery driver on the delivery of the Unit.

12. In the event of cancellation (other than by the Company) within seven days of the date of hire, you, the Hirer are liable to pay the balance of one half of the cost of hire.

13. The Unit is to be checked on delivery and your signing below indicates acceptance of the Unit as being in good, clean condition and working order.

14. The Company shall not be liable for damage the Unit may cause to land which includes damage to underground pipes and or drains.

15. Any damage to the Unit must be paid for by you, the Hirer named in this agreement.

Terms specific to the bucking bronco and surf simulator:

1. The Unit can be used indoors and outdoors.

2. You, the Hirer must ensure that there is a mains socket available to supply power to the Unit.

3. The Company will supply one member of staff to operate the Unit.

4. For the safety of persons using the Unit, you the Hirer, must at all times, ensure that;

4.1 No children under the age of 10 use the Unit and no persons under 4 foot in height use the bucking bronco.

4.2 Only one person uses the Unit at one time.

4.3 Persons do not get on the Unit whilst it is in motion.

4.4 If a person falls off the Unit, the Unit is switched off immediately. All persons must wait until the Unit has stopped moving before getting up.

Terms specific to bouncy castle, castle with a slide, bungee run and obstacle course:

1. You, the Hirer must ensure that there is a mains socket available to supply power to the Unit.

2. For the safety of persons using the Unit, you the Hirer, must at all times, ensure that;

2.1 Children and adults do not use the Unit at the same time. Persons of different age ranges and persons having substantial differences of height and/or weight must not be allowed to use the Unit at the same time.

2.2 No persons climb the walls of the Unit.

2.3 No persons are on the Unit when it is being inflated and deflated.

2.4 In relation to the slide only one person must use it at a time. Persons must not go down the slide if there is someone in the way. All persons must go down the slide feet first. Once persons have gone down the slide they must move immediately from the bottom of the slide.

Terms specific to gladiator arena and boxing ring:

1. You, the Hirer must ensure that there is a mains socket available to supply power to the Unit.

2. For the safety of persons using the Unit, you the Hirer, must at all times, ensure that;

2.1 All persons wear the safety helmets and pads provided.

2.2 No persons hit each other above the shoulders or below the waist.

2.3 Children and adults do not use the Unit at the same time. No person under the age of 10 must use the Unit. Persons of different age ranges and persons having substantial differences of height and/or weight must not be allowed to use the Unit at the same time.

Terms specific to laser arena:

1. You, the Hirer must ensure that there is a mains socket available to supply power to the Unit.

2. The Company will provide one member of staff to operate the laser arena.

3. For the safety of persons using the Unit, you the Hirer, must at all times, ensure that;

3.1 All persons wear the protective clothing provided.

3.2 All persons hold the laser gun in the correct way, as shown by the Company’s member of staff.

3.3 All persons follow all instructions given by the Company’s member of staff.

3.4 No person runs within the arena.

Terms specific to DJ set:

1. The unit can be used indoors and outdoors. If it is used outdoors you must ensure that there equipment is under cover so as to protect it from the weather conditions.

2. You, the Hirer must ensure that there is a mains socket available to supply power to the Unit.

3. The Company will provide a member of staff to operate the Unit.

Terms specific to Sumo wrestling suits:

1. For the safety of persons using the Unit, you the Hirer, must at all times, ensure that;

1.1 Adults and children must not use Units at the same time.

1.2 All games are designed for specific age ranges. Persons under 8 years must not be allowed to participate. Persons of different age ranges and persons having substantial differences of height and/or weight must not be allowed to fight each other.

1.3 The suits are laid out on the sumo mats for persons to put them on.

1.4 All persons must ensure that their safety helmet is fastened correctly. Should the helmets become loose or dislodged during the games all persons must STOP immediately and fasten them correctly.

1.5 No person must punch, kick or deliver blows to the head to other person.

1.6 All persons must stay on the sumo mats at all times and check that the sumo mats are in the correct position before the next game begins.

1.7 Spectators do not encroach onto the sumo mat.
